Most apps promise to protect your data. We don't open the door that could send it anywhere. You don't have to take our word for it — Android's own permission screen shows you that the app cannot reach the network.
Arxa — document scanner
Scans paper documents with your phone's camera, recognises the text and saves a searchable PDF. Places both sides of an ID card on a single A4 page at true size.
- No internet permission Arxa's Android manifest does not declare the
INTERNETpermission. This is not a policy choice but a technical limit: even if the app wanted to, it could not send anything anywhere. - Text recognition runs on the phone The model that reads your document is bundled inside the app. Scanned pages are never uploaded or processed in a cloud.
- No ads, no trackers, no account There is no sign-up and no sign-in. The app has no way of learning who you are.
- Your documents stay with you PDFs live in the app's private storage on your phone. Only you decide where they go next.
Why we build this way
A document scanner sees people's ID cards, contracts, licences and invoices. The most reliable way to protect something that sensitive is to close the route the data could take in the first place. If we have no server, we have nothing to leak — and nothing to hand over, even if our policy were to change.
Every app released under EVG Techworks is designed by the same measure: we decide first which permissions we will not take.
